The 2.0 version of the CPRE FL syllabus is published in German and forms the basis for the examinations for acquiring the certificate in German-speaking countries.

The book "Basiswissen Requirements Engineering" (German version) by Klaus Pohl and Chris Rupp was published at dpunkt.verlag. It contains all information necessary to achieve the goals of the CPRE FL syllabus version 2.0.

Future Network, the certification body for Austria, conducted a ceremony on 27 November 2008 where they presented the top ten of more than 170 people who had taken the certification examination for system analysts and business analysts.

iSQI Becomes IREB-Licensed for Further Countries:
The International Software Quality Institute (iSQI GmbH) was licensed by IREB to conduct the CPRE FL examination in the USA, the Netherlands, India and Israel. iSQI increases their activities concerning the IREB certification in those countries.

Examination for CPRE FL Is now Part of the iSQI QAMP Certificate:
The IREB CPRE FL examination is now part of the QUAMP IT certificate of the International Software Quality Institute (iSQI GmbH). With the QUAMP IT certificate companies are offered a clear way for professionalizing their staff in the disciplines of project management, requirements engineering, architecture, test and configuration management.

Since February 2008, the CPRE FL examination can be taken in English. The examination is conducted by IREB-licensed certification bodies.

The iSQI GmbH Is now Certified to Conduct the CPRE FL Examination outside of Germany as well.
The IREB and the Erlangen-based International Software Quality Institute (iSQI GmbH) set up a contract entitling iSQI to internationally conduct the IREB CPRE FL exam.
