The Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) certification model offers the three qualification levels:
CPRE FL – Foundation Level
Foundation level comprises basic knowledge of eliciting, analyzing, specifying, documenting, checking and managing requirements.
A person having achieved a CPRE FL certificate
- is able to decide whether a certain issue is related to requirements engineering
- understands the basic characteristics and the interplay of methodical approaches like elicitation techniques, forms of description or documentation and
- is familiar with the most established notations for requirements.
CPRE AL – Advanced Level (Consisting of Several Modules)
A person having achieved a CPRE AL certificate for a specific level module of advanced level is able to successfully apply the techniques and methods of that particular module in projects.
CPRE EL – Expert Level
The CPRE EL certificate confirms deep knowledge and experience in the application of techniques and methods of requirements engineering.
