In the US and in the Americas more generally classroom and eLearning training programs for  the Foundation level certification have been introduced and are currently available in English. Training Providers are working on mobile applications that will provide flash cards and sample exam questions to prepare for the Foundation level certification. These apps are expected to be available in late 2011 for Android and Apple platforms.

Everyone willing to support and promote requirements engineering effectiveness is invited - there is still a lot of work to do! For additional information about IREB and the CPRE, Contact: info@certified-re.org

A companion web site, www.A-RE-A.org has been established as well. This web site lists members by country, Association advisors and sponsors, and includes a bibliography (with a link to the Foundation level exam preparation book – Requirements Engineering Fundamentals by Klaus Pohl and Chris Rupp).
