Erik van Veenendaal

Drs. Erik van Veenendaal (www.erikvanveenendaal.nl) is a leading international consultant and trainer, and a recognized expert in the area of software testing and quality management. He is the founder of Improve Quality Services BV, a company that specializes in testing and requirement engineering.

He is the author of a number of books and has published a large number of papers within the profession. Erik was vice-president of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) from 2005 till 2009 and is currently the vice-chair of the TMMi Foundation.

He is a regular keynote and tutorial speaker at international testing and quality management conferences. For ten years, Erik was also a part-time senior lecturer at the Eindhoven University of Technology, For his major contribution to the field of testing, Erik received the "European Testing Excellence Award" in December, 2007.
