Board
The Members of the Board Are Independent and Internationally Recognized Experts from Industry, Consulting, Research and Education.
The IREB membership is solely individual. A membership as representative of an organization or a company is not possible.
IREB differentiates between personal members and supporting members.
Personal members are experts in the field of requirements engineering and decide upon the course of the IREB's work. IREB seeks to achieve a balanced mix of personal members from the fields of business, research and education as well as representatives from countries active in the certification program.
Supporting members are active members of working groups like groups that elaborate syllabi and exams. Supporting members are typically experts in requirements engineering as well, but also in other topics relevant for the work of the IREB.
The IREB is organized into working groups that are formed to meet whatever current needs and workloads there happen to be at the IREB. A personal member is always responsible as lead of a working group.
The most Important Working Groups Are as follows:
• Maintenance of the Foundation Level syllabus
• Questions and exam for the Foundation Level
• Development of the syllabus for a certain Advanced Level module
• Questions and exam for an Advanced Level module
• Internationalization
• Marketing
