Emmerich has more than 30 years of experience in application development. Since 1985 he has been working as a lecturer and consultant in higher technical schools, at seminars, as well as being a co-author and serving as an expert examiner.

In 1989 he founded FUCHS-INFORMATICS AG and as managing director is active in an advisory capacity for notable companies in the areas of business process modelling, requirements engineering and quality assurance.
