About IREB GmbH

The IREB GmbH, based in Karlsruhe, a city well known for its research and technology, was founded on April 1st, 2011 to run the operational business of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB e.V.).

Since 2007, more than 10,000 professionals have succeeded the CPRE Foundation Level examination - with a rising tendency. So far, the majority of certification exams have taken place in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but professionals from the Netherlands, Spain, Bulgaria, Egypt, USA, Colombia, Brazil, South Korea, Malaysia and India have already gained CPRE certificates as well. Currently, there are plans to intensify CPRE activities in South America, China and the United States. With the foundation of IREB GmbH, IREB has established the necessary structures for future growth.

The main tasks of IREB GmbH will be the organizational support of IREB e.V., the coordination of working groups and translation tasks, communication and contracting with certification bodies and training providers, and marketing activities.
